OUR TOWN
IS NOW
Based in Spartanburg, South Carolina
Music Festivals + Events
Established 2026
We hope to bring a full calendar of live music and cultural events that showcase local and regional talent, covering both performative and visual arts.
We intend build a company/collective that elevates and builds connective tissue across the arts, and provide well-curated events for the entire community to enjoy. I can’t tell you how many times my wife and I have looked at each other and said “What are we doing tonight?” And the answer more often than not was to go to Greenville, Asheville, Charlotte etc. to catch concerts, shows and dinners. These are great cities but sometimes it’d be nice to say “We have that at home” when we want to go see some of our favorite bands. Spartanburg has a rich music history and deserves to continue that legacy as we grow. We hope to be part of that legacy here in our great town.
Why did you start this collective?
For me, starting this collective was about bringing people together. My grandmother made sure I was around the arts as far back as I can remember, so growing up in bands and playing music was the natural course of things. I loved everything about it, the production, the live atmosphere, and most importantly seeing people having a good time. The art of shared experiences and community building are the ethos of Our Town Collective.

Put simply, because Spartanburg is Our Town and we want to invest in, and serve, our community. We aim to do this by producing top-flight live music and cultural events, which provide a platform for local artists, and homegrown events for the community to enjoy.

As the world & technology grows people are getting lonelier, the antidote for that has always been shared experience. So I guess the answer for this is that I simply hope it brings community and a reason for people to leave the house.
